Konstrukteur/in EFZ
As a Konstrukteur/in EFZ, you design and construct individual parts and modules for devices, machines, tools and production lines. You create design drawings and compile technical documentation. You draw first drafts by hand and create the 3D models on the computer from the design drawings you create. You perform the necessary calculations and adhere to geometric shapes, dimensions and tolerances on plans, as well as details about surface quality and materials. You play an active role in the development of new products and work in projects or subprojects, or manage them. You meet the expectations of the ever changing market and customers.
Your training
Duration: Four years
School days: 1-2 days per week
Vocational school-leaving certificate: possible
Certificate: Konstrukteur/in EFZ
Prerequisites
- Compulsory education completed
- Good grades in maths, physics and geometry
- Good spatial perception
- Technical understanding
- Enjoy working with computers (CAD, 3D)
- Interest in technical contexts
- Careful and precise work
- Reliability and ability to work in a team
